My husband and I have four children, two wrinkly.mischievous.lovable English Bulldogs, a senior Chocolate Lab who thankfully helps to keep them in line, and a sassy bunch of chickens.

The inspiration for this blog: Since I was young, I have always cherished memories made in the kitchen. Creating something beautiful that others can enjoy makes my heart happy.

Things that can almost always be found in my kitchen: a child looking for a snack, someone at the counter that needs help with homework, a toddler on my hip, and a bulldog at my feet. It’s where the heart of our day starts and ends. It’s where you can find me most of the time. These daily memories seem so simple but lately I realize how quickly they are passing me by. So, I have decided to share my favorite place in the world with you and pour some love and energy into preserving these moments.
